Study Abroad

Low Cost Universities in Australia in 2022

Over 400,000 (future) graduates from all over the world chose Australia as their study destination last year, making this beautiful country one of the most popular choices among international students.

But the question is: can you study a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Australia without breaking the bank?

The answer is yes, but it’s not that simple. Australia simply isn’t as affordable as most European countries, for example. So even the lower tuition costs don’t compare to what you’d spend in other regions.

Still, don’t forget that on this continent country, tuition can easily go over 40, 50 or even 60,000 AUD per academic year. So, the ‘affordable’ universities listed below are still much cheaper than many of their American counterparts, for example.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • We’ve created these lists based on the program and higher education institutions listed on our portals: Bachelors portal and Masters portal. This means the lists don’t feature every single university, and you might be able to find other affordable degrees or universities in Australia.
  • Universities can add or remove program periodically. If a university on these lists no longer offers an affordable degree, simply use the filters on our portals to find other Australian universities that do.
  • To discover an even larger number of academic courses, you can visit the official website of your favorite Australian university.
