Aiming to ensure that no incident of ragging takes place in the dental institutions across the Country, the Dental Council of India (DCI) has recently written to the Heads of all the Dental colleges in India to strictly implement the measures for curbing the menace of ragging in their institutes.

Further, in the letter dated October 7, 2021, the Assistant Secretary of DCI, Vinay Gupta has reminded the Principals of the Dental colleges that “as per DCI Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Dental Colleges, 2009, it is the responsibility of all the institution to ensure that no incident of ragging takes place in their dental institution and measures taken to curb it may be reviewed.”
